Premium Service - International Deliveries
When speed is of the essence our Premium Service provides swift and dependable delivery to nearly every country in the world. It is suitable for all types of business correspondence such as letters, invoices, direct mail and contracts as well as heavier items such as catalogues and annual reports.

Number of items
You do not need to have a minimum number of items to access our Worldwide Mail Services. However, as we collect free from your premises as part of the service, we do have a minimum order value per collection. So, you’ll start making real cost savings when you send a minimum of 50 lightweight letters or 20 heavier items per collection.
Minimum and maximum item weights
There is no minimum item weight and the maximum item weight is 2kg. If you need to send items over 2kg, please your Spring country representatives.
Preparing your mail
We will take care of most of the mail preparation for you. However, if you can perform some of this work, you will qualify for a lower price.
You will not usually need to pre-print indicia on your envelopes. We will do this for you by either franking the mail or applying a self-adhesive sticker containing the correct postal indicia.
For large volume mailings, we might request that you pre-print indicia if the envelopes or address carrier sheets have not already been produced.

You will only be required to sort your mail into the following geographic zones:
- Zone 1 Europe – EU countries
- Zone 2 Europe – Non-EU countries
- Zone 3 Rest of World
You will need to sort your mail into 27 separate zones.
Each mailing must be accompanied by a Consignment Note. This document is easy to complete and contains all the information we need to process your mail.
Upon set-up of your account, we will supply you with Consignment Notes pre-printed with your account details.
Arranging a collection
When you have mail to send out, simply call your customer service representative who will arrange a collection. Collection from your premises, or from any other location, is included in the service, so no extra charge will be made.
Collections are made by PostNL (the majority shareholder in the Spring Global Mail joint venture) unless you are sending a large mailing requiring dedicated transportation. In this case we will make special arrangements with a specialist third-party transport provider.
There are a number of variables which will determine the tariff we can offer you. These include the required delivery speed, the level of sortation you are able to perform and the size, weight and volume of your mail.
For this reason, we do not publish tariffs. Instead, we ask you to provide a ‘profile’ of the mail you are sending which we will use to create your tailor-made tariff.
